This Butter T-shirt and sweatshirt carry the Butter clan crest and tartan with the motto Diriget Deus — "God Will Direct."
Butter is an uncommon Scottish surname with roots in Perthshire; like many Highland and Lowland names, it likely began as a way to mark out one family line from another in a small community.
T-shirt: soft, breathable cotton, relaxed unisex fit, tear-away tag. Sweatshirt: fleece interior, ribbed cuffs and waistband, pre-shrunk fabric. Both in Navy, Royal, Black, and Forest Green, S–3XL.
A good option for Highland games, a Butter family reunion, a genealogy gift, or everyday wear.
Celtic Ancestry Gifts carries the Butter crest across other heritage gifts — search "Butter" or your own surname to see more.
